Goals of the Training
Having so much data in such a reduced physical footprint opens a world of application, integration and customization opportunities to our customers.
The purpose of the PDI-API training class is to provide a basic understanding of the structure and usage of the Panoratio Java Application Programming Interface. In addition, the attendee will learn various integration points to Panoratio’s products, best practices when using the API, and unlock the potential of supercomputing in software.
Who Should Attend
This class is designed for Java programmers who will have the opportunity to develop Panoratio Solution Components or to integrate Panoratio’s tools into an application or external environment. Panoratio’s API is a well designed Java API which allows programmers to design and build new user or programmatic interfaces to the PDI, new graphical components for the Explorer and integrations of Panoratio into an external application or environment.
Recommended Experience
The attendees of the PDI-API Training Class must have a working knowledge of Java, Java tools and XML. The attendees should have understanding of database concepts and a working knowledge of the chosen operating environment and software tools. Knowledge of XML is a plus but not a requirement.
API Training Class
The API Training class consists of on-site training. Whenever possible, as part of the training the attendees will work on a project that directly relates to the customer’s business needs. This provides practical knowledge as well as teaching the attendees the usage of the PDI-API.
